In addition to Cupping Events, the ITCC also coordinates and facilitates other educational programs and events around the world. Events like our signature Cup Warming tea tastings invite experts from around the world to present about teas from their countries, followed by tasting examples. Some are open to the public while others are for members and friends. These events may be official ITCC programs and also events held by ITCC members in their locations. Sponsored events are posted on the ITCC Community Board.
Types of Events:
- Intl. Cup Warming - Tea tasting socials featuring teas from the world.
- Tea Evaluation Events - Members gather to evaluate specific teas.
- Lectures, Seminars, Workshops - Focused programs on specific topics.
- Brewing Competitions - Emphasis is placed on tea preparation skill and optimal aroma/flavor qualities.
