Thanks Jordan. It was quite a unique experience. Actually, there is a power generation station at the bottom of the cave (using the hydro-power of the river that rages at the back of the cave). So, no need for the extension cord.:-) There is a kind of stage area so let's go do a tea ceremony for them!

Dan this is a fascinating story. The cave seems ancient and ominous. It would be great to run a long extension cord down there and perform a gong fu ceremony. How cool would that be?

I agree. Tea pairings are gaining popularity. I also think pairing tea with food makes the tea more approachable for folks who do not regularly drink tea. It engages people and presents tea in a new way. It's amazing how certain foods really bring out the wonderful aspects of particular teas. It also can work the other way around. I think this surprises people. On a more personal note, I just enjoyed a nice cup of Qimen with a wonderful local New York goat brie yesterday. It was delish!

This looks like it was a very tasty event. Was there any hands-down favorite pairing. I love a good brie. How did it go with the Bai Mudan? Can't wait to hear about your next event!
